Saturdays are usually my days to hang out with my little girl, run errands, or do some shopping. My daughter loves to go to the movies; secretly I think she just likes to eat the popcorn like me, so I treated her to a movie and shopping. I have said it countless times, just because I am a mother doesn’t mean I have to get caught up in the “motherly runt” and dress like one. I know- I know as a mother it may seem like every ones needs come before you and chances are you might not get to take a shower uninterrupted by your little ones. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t devote sometime, even 5 minutes to yourself and upkeep. I believe the best lessons we can teach our children is how we carry ourselves and the importance of take care of you first. Now this doesn’t mean that I am selfish but it does mean “I cannot be a good mother/friend/daughter/whatever if I am not good to Coci first”! Okay I got off track...ha ha!
